To rigorously implement the requirements of the Fire Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Work Safety Law, reinforce enterprises’ principal responsibility for fire safety, enhance the fire‑safety performance, risk‑management capabilities, and emergency command and response skills of mid‑ and senior‑level managers, and fortify the enterprise’s work‑safety safeguards, Huanggang Meifeng conducted a special fire‑safety training session for mid‑ and senior‑level managers on May 21 at the East District Fire Station. The training was delivered by the company’s Safety Director, Teng Zhaoyang, and was attended by a total of 37 participants, including management at all levels, heads of various departments, and key personnel in safety management.

Clarify the organizational structure and strengthen fire safety management accountability.

The training clarified the company’s organizational structure for its 2026 fire‑emergency response team, standardizing the establishment of five specialized task forces—emergency command, firefighting operations, evacuation guidance, equipment support, and medical rescue—and further detailing the responsibilities of each role, on‑duty protocols, and procedures for handling fire incidents. This has established an internal emergency response system characterized by clear division of labor, rapid response, and efficient incident management. In addition, in alignment with applicable laws and regulations, the training systematically defined the statutory duties of fire safety officers and management personnel, thereby strengthening a tiered, multi‑level accountability framework for fire safety. On site, it was emphasized that management must conduct routine hazard inspections and ensure closed‑loop corrective actions, firmly upholding the bottom line of workplace safety.

In-depth analysis of fire protection systems and standardization of facility operation and maintenance management.

The training focused on the plant’s comprehensive fire‑protection system, with specialized instruction emphasizing the operating principles of various fire‑fighting equipment. With respect to the fire‑water supply system, the session provided a detailed breakdown of the operational logic, pressure‑stabilization functions, and key aspects of routine management for the fire pump room, fire water tank, and elevated water tank. It also established clear standards for regular inspections to ensure the reliable operation of the emergency water‑supply system, thereby strengthening the plant’s overall fire‑protection infrastructure.

Focusing on real-world drills and training to strengthen emergency response capabilities.

This training session incorporates practical, real-world instruction, featuring demonstrations of fire truck functions and hands-on exercises with emergency equipment. Instructors provided detailed explanations of the specifications and performance characteristics of enterprise‑specific fire trucks, highlighting their spray‑delivery advantages and typical rescue application scenarios. They also demonstrated standardized emergency response procedures to enhance managers’ capabilities in equipment dispatch and operational oversight. Additionally, on-site briefings were conducted for each piece of firefighting equipment. Key operational guidelines for emergency equipment such as protective suits, self-contained breathing apparatus, and fire extinguishers will be emphasized to ensure that trainees master the proper use of these tools, effectively address gaps in real‑world response capabilities, and comprehensively enhance their ability to manage emergencies.

Summarize and deploy the work, and fortify a long-term safety defense.

At the conclusion of the training, the company’s Safety Director, Wan Xiaopan, delivered… In summarizing and outlining the next steps, and in light of the current fire safety landscape, we put forward three key requirements: First, strengthen principal responsibility by ensuring that management at all levels uphold the safety baseline, fulfill tiered control duties, and conduct routine hazard identification and remediation to mitigate fire safety risks at their source. Second, enhance emergency response capabilities by ensuring that all personnel are proficient in operating fire‑fighting equipment and emergency tools, actively participate in drills, and continuously refine response procedures while building practical experience. Third, reinforce coordination and collaboration by fostering a “whole‑system” approach to fire safety across all departments, promoting close cooperation and joint governance to comprehensively establish a framework of shared responsibility and integrated management.

This training was practical and focused, effectively addressing the gaps in fire safety management among mid- and senior-level managers and further reinforcing their accountability for workplace safety. Moving forward, the company will rigorously implement all planned initiatives, align with regulatory requirements, conduct regular fire‑safety hazard inspections, safety education and training, and emergency response drills, and establish a robust, long‑term fire‑safety management system. These efforts will continue to strengthen the foundation of production, ensuring the enterprise’s safe, stable, and high‑quality development.
