“A Tribute to Veterans: The Spirit of Chishui—A New Journey of Iron and Blood” Themed Event

The spirit of the military is forever enshrined, passed down from generation to generation. On the morning of July 31, Huanggang Meifeng Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. held a themed event titled “August 1st: The Red Water Spirit—A New Journey of Iron and Blood,” paying tribute to retired military personnel and warmly celebrating the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. Gao Shengming, Deputy General Manager; Xu Wenli, Chief Engineer; and Chen Guoqiang, Secretary of the Party Branch, attended the event, joining all veteran employees in a joyous gathering to reminisce about their distinguished years in the military and discuss their responsibilities and commitments in their respective roles.

The event kicked off with a solemn recitation of the military oath. Veteran representative Teng Zhaoyang led the pledge, as all returning service members raised their right fists in unison, their voices resolute and firm, underscoring their unwavering loyalty: “If called to serve, we will answer without hesitation.” Company leaders then delivered remarks, extending festive greetings to all veteran employees, commending their dual commitment—“serving the nation in uniform and contributing to the enterprise in civilian attire”—and encouraging them to uphold the fine traditions of military service, strive for excellence in their roles, and continue to lead by example.

During the exchange and sharing session, veteran representatives eloquently recounted their military experiences and insights gained from frontline work. All employees then watched together the documentary “Forever a Soldier,” drawing inspiration from its inspiring stories of resilience, unity, and collaboration, thereby strengthening their resolve to overcome challenges and strive for excellence through practical action. At the event’s conclusion, company leaders posed for a group photo with all veteran employees and presented them with holiday gifts, extending the company’s care to each and every veteran.
