Liu Ting, director of the Huanggang Economic and Information Bureau, made a leading introduction to the attending merchants. Huanggang Mayor Li Junjie pointed out that during the current economic downturn, many industries will undergo reshuffling, which contains not only crises but also opportunities. This signing conference is an opportunity for enterprises, where both enterprises and the government are making mutual selections. Enterprises choose the government's services and location advantages for their own development, while the government selects good enterprises to promote local economic development and facilitate the transformation of government functions, optimizing industrial layout.
A total of 89 enterprises from various counties (cities, districts) signed on-site. Hubei Meikai Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Hubei Meikai) was represented by Chairman Zeng Tieming, General Manager Yang Xuefeng, and Assistant General Manager Nie Hongwu at the "Good Start" project signing conference. The "New Type Ultraviolet Absorber Project" of Hubei Meikai is one of the first projects signed with the Huanggang High-tech Zone, and Hubei Meikai will officially settle in the Huangzhou District High-tech Development Zone. The total investment of the project is 600 million yuan, with a fixed asset investment of 400 million yuan, and it plans to build a new annual production capacity of 9,200 tons of ultraviolet absorbers, with a planned land area of about 75 acres. The project factory and supporting facilities will be planned and constructed in one go, with product equipment built in two phases. Once the entire project is completed and reaches production capacity, the estimated annual output value will be around 620 million, with tax revenue of 35 million yuan and an expected employment of about 200 people.
The successful signing of the Hubei Meikai project "New Type Ultraviolet Absorber Project" is one of the "main engines" for the industrial development and growth of Huanggang. It is an important force to enhance the competitiveness of the Huanggang High-tech Zone, empowering the high-quality development of Huanggang's economy. This project is not only beneficial for the Huanggang High-tech Zone but also for Hubei Meikai itself, as it will elevate Hubei Meikai's development to a new level, enhancing the company's growth potential and vitality, and creating more value for society.
