This training session is conducted by a senior instructor from the Huanggang Red Cross Society and adopts a combined approach of “theoretical instruction + hands-on practice + on-site assessment.” In the theoretical During the instructional session, the instructor, drawing on the specific characteristics of chemical manufacturing operations, provided a systematic explanation of basic emergency first-aid concepts and the step-by-step procedure for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Automated External Defibrillator (AED) usage, first aid for airway obstruction due to foreign bodies (Heimlich maneuver), trauma first aid (hemostasis, dressing, immobilization, and transport), and on-site management of common accidental injuries—these constitute the core knowledge and skills.

To ensure the effectiveness of the training and assess the learning outcomes of the participating employees, a theoretical written exam and a practical skills assessment were conducted immediately following the training. The theoretical exam focused on evaluating the trainees’ mastery of first-aid knowledge, while the practical assessment centered on the standardized performance of core skills such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation and trauma dressing.

All trainees responded calmly and followed standardized operating procedures. Relying on their solid theoretical foundation and proficient practical skills, they all passed the assessment with outstanding results and successfully obtained the certificate issued by the Huanggang Red Cross Society.
